It is a metal primer based on special alkyd resin and incorporate iron oxide as anti-corrosive pigment. It is fast drying and enhances adhesion between substrate and top-coat.
It is designed for use as primer on steel where long-term protection is required.
Usage :
It is most useful for protecting outdoor metals from rust and corrosion such as rail, gate, window grating and machinery.
Grey Oxide Primer will help prevent rust. The film thickness, adhesion blends easily and dries quickly.
Application :
First Application (Surface Preparation)
New Surface
Clean the surface to be free from dust, rust and grease.
Previously Painted Surface
Remove loose and deteriorated old paint. Clean the surface to free from rust.
Second Application (Primer Coating)
Apply 1-2 coats of Grey Oxide Primer.
Third Application (Top Coating)
Apply 2 coats of Synthetic High Gloss Enamel.
Storage :
Keep away from children and store in cool place.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
Wash paint brushes and other equipment with water or warm water after use.
